Olaf is an IT and management professional with more than 15 years of experience in leadership, business development, digitalization and IT management along with profound skills in project and transformation management.

After years in the corporate world he decided for a change – since then Olaf has been mentoring start-ups across Africa and Germany. He spent almost 4 years in Rwanda setting up and managing the Digital Transformation Center Kigali, an innovation hub bringing together government, start-ups and other actors in the ecosystem to develop transformative, SDG relevant digital solutions.

Since mid 2022 Olaf is focusing on supporting Innovation Ecosystems in southern Africa, where he is heading operations for Make-IT in Africa.
