Nneka Ekechukwu-Soyinka is a Sr. Privacy Manager at Mozilla Corporation and the Lean Data Practices Lead for the Africa Innovation Mradi. She started her career as a Security & Privacy Consultant at Deloitte before transitioning to industry where she would say her privacy career really began. Having worked for two Fortune 100 companies (The Coca-Cola Company and Cisco Systems), Nneka brings global experience in privacy program operations, privacy education, and the incorporation of privacy-by-design into products and services for both consumers and employees. At Mozilla, Nneka works cross-functionally to ensure Mozilla’s products and services apply Mozilla’s privacy principles and lean data practices in a consumer-centric manner. Nneka has an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BBA in Information Technology Management from the University of Notre Dame. She is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. When she’s not traveling the world with her active 8 month old son, Nneka is likely baking, spending time at home with family and friends, or determining where to travel next.
