She believes agribusiness+tech is the only economic sector that can address the most pressing problems facing the world today. Nana Adjoa A. Sifa is an award winning Ghanaian Social Entrepreneur helping Female Agribusiness Founders to make impact and income. Through Guzakuza, a company she founded, she has inspired and nurtured over 5,000 young women from 30 countries to build game-changing Agribusinesses in Africa.

She has over 10 years experience of facilitating and making projects work and has worked extensively on projects and programmes that have

directly impacted women and girls in Africa. Some of her notable programmes include Ignite, SheFarms and Impact Ghana.

In addition to being a founder, a trainer, a consultant and a speaker, she also serves as a member of the UN Women’s Economic Empowerment Reference Group in East and Southern Africa and a jury member for the German Corporation’s Game Changers -Women in Agriculture Programme.

She is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, British Councils’ Active Citizen, a fellow at the New York University’s GWSLP and a member of the Association of Women in Agribusiness.

Nana has received several awards including, the ten most outstanding young people in Ghana, 40 under 40 and Ghana Outstanding Woman in

Agribusiness Award. Her work has also attracted recognition from both local and international media including the New York Times, DW TV &

Radio, Spore Magazine, Citi, Peace and Joy News.

In 2017 Nana Adjoa presented the Berlin Charter at the G-20 meeting in Berlin. She has spoken on higher level panels such as the Malabo

Montpellier Panel, African Union and NEPAD panels on issues relating to Food, Agriculture, Business, Agribusiness start-ups and gender.

 

Nana loves travelling, interacting with people, coaching, mentoring and enjoys cultural diversity. Nana becomes happy when someone looks at her and says, “Because of you Nana, I didn’t give up’.
