Maurice is an innovative and versatile organizational leader specializing in sustainable social enterprise growth and implementing impact business transformation. A quality acknowledged by VIVO Energy International having been honored with the Reputation Builders award for his work on social innovation in creating a recycling program and creative capacity building for communities, corporate bodies, and waste pickers in and around the coastal and urban areas in Greater Accra, Ghana reaching over 12,000 individuals.

He serves as the Managing Director and Board Member of Kumasi Hive; a Technology innovation Hub in Ghana, He acts as a Technical Advisor at the Development Associates Link International, a Co-founder and Head of Business Development for Solar Taxi Ghana, an automotive manufacturing company of electric vehicles, the Executive Director for ILM Consult which provides entrepreneurship and business development services for businesses and SMEs across Africa, the Deputy Executive Director for Brave Connect an opportunity creation hub that seeks to connect, inspire and empower young African women through education, climate action, and emerging technologies; WEB3. Maurice leads innovation-driven programs in the bid to improve communities and promote entrepreneurship: he has worked with organizations like USAID, British Council, Giz, and GRIPE (Ghana Recycling Initiative by Private Enterprises) just to mention a few. Notable achievements include a collation with the AGI (Association of Ghana Industries) to co-create a consortium of multinational companies in Ghana including, Guinness Ghana Limited, PZ Cussons, Unilever Ghana Limited, Voltic Ghana, Fanmilk Ghana, DOW, Nestle, & Coca-Cola, to create programs and implement solutions against plastic pollution and recycling in Ghana, named as GRIPE.

A board member and lead counsel for Africa Makerspace Network, a community comprising of researchers, innovators, hobbyists, and students that use tools and equipment within a structured space for skills and knowledge sharing, community problem solving towards attaining sustainable development in Africa, with about 27 maker spaces from across 10 African countries thus Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Côte d’Ivoire, and Botswana.
